We here at Gimlet have signed up with Pingdom to provide real-time reports (and historical recording) of our system uptime. Along the same lines, we’ve replaced our home-grown System Status page with this one, which is updated automatically.

As always, we’ll automatically be notified of any downtime, and post status updates on our Twitter feed.

It’s also worth letting you know: This site (ridesidecar.com) is handled by a completely different set of servers (in a different city, no less) than Gimlet itself. The chances of both sites having downtime due to the same problem is very, very low.
